Brilliant
When you order the spicy Italian sandwich at Subway, it’s supposed to come with sauce. Reginald Peterson’s sandwich did not. A reasonable patron would simply ask for the sauce. But Mr. Peterson appears not to be so reasonable. He called 911. Twice.
The first time was about the sauce. The second time was about the police. It seems they did not respond to his call fast enough.
According to the Associated Press, the police told Mr. Peterson that a botched sandwich order does not qualify as a life or death emergency. The cops didn’t have much luck calming him down.
So he was arrested and charged with making false 911 calls.
I wonder what was on the menu in county lock-up?
