God and Gorillas Don’t Mix

The anti-creationism crowd is in an uproar in Cincinnati.

The Associated Press is reporting that the Cincinnati Zoo was forced to pull out of a promotional partnership with the Creation Museum. The zoo was offering a 2-for-1 deal — promoting their light show and the museum’s live nativity scene.

Some scientists and bloggers went ape and fired off angry e-mails and letters. They were upset because the museum presents the Bible’s version of natural history.  They say it’s wrong for a zoo to work with a religious organization that rejects the theory of evolution.

Museum president Ken Ham told the AP: “It’s a pity that intolerant people have pushed for our expulsion simply because of our Christian faith.”

I guess God and gorillas don’t mix.

Kudos to Ken Ham for actually saying "intolerant." Seems most people are afraid to point out that truth anymore, except you, Todd!

    What are they afraid of?

Who gives a crap about the 5 people that did not want it. I am tired of letting the few vocal people rule this country. Tell them to pound salt and move on. If they don't like it they stay home, very simple.
When I don't want to hear or see something I just don't go to see it, simple!

Somehow they have forgotten that the "theory" of evolution is just that – a "theory". Amazing that scientists accept a theory as truth – and reject the possibilities of considering other theories, especially the creation one.
