Californians Should Be Proud
Congratulations to all who voted in California. You had the chance to stand up to the ruling class and you did (the rest of us are jealous we don’t have the same opportunity). The defeat of their tax plan was deafening (34% yes – 66% no) but I am afraid they are hard of hearing.
California was once the envy of the world with great schools, terrific transportation and plenty of energy. Now the education system is rated the 2nd worst in the nation, the roads are in disrepair and the power system is on the verge of failing. Yet, taxes are higher. It appears to have reached a tipping point.
What will the inept California politicians do? There are only three choices:
1) Go Bankrupt
2) Dramatic Cost Cutting
3) Federal Bailout
I don’t they are capable of making the tough choices that you and I have to make everyday.
