On “Meet the Press,” Rudy Giuliani said that without tort reform the only way a public health care option saves money is by “pulling the plug on Grandma.”  As Think Progress has noted, President Obama did put tort reform on the table, but Republicans offered nothing in return.

Harold Ford, Jr. reminds the mayor that Republicans “didn’t say a word” about the cost of the Medicare prescription drug bill, or the war for that matter.
