It’s always easier to believe outside forces are to blame for what is happening to us than ourselves. Why look in the mirror and take responsibility when you can just point your finger in any number of directions?

Well, over the weekend on MEET THE PRESS, former President Bill Clinton shared his firm belief that the vast right wing conspiracy his wife Hillary coined is still alive and well.

“It’s not really good for the Republicans and the country, what’s going on now,” he said. “I mean, they may be hurting President Obama. They can take his numbers down, they can run his opposition up. But fundamentally, he and his team have a positive agenda for America.”

Really? Even members of his own party aren’t convinced this agenda is so positive for America.

A new poll today finds that support for socialized medicine is DOWN AGAIN–to it lowest level yet.

Bill Clinton feels at least the conspiracy isn’t as strong these days since “America’s change demographically since then”!

Maybe he should see a poll from August that found that conservatives outnumber liberals in ALL FIFTY STATES.

Or one from June that found that conservatives are the single largest ideological group in America.

I think, if anything, Obama and his extreme leftist and downright socialistic ideas for America will push MORE people to the middle and even to the right.

And it will be ALL HIS DOING.

But that’s not as much fun or as easy as believing in a vast right wing conspiracy, is it?
