YEAH, I CHEERED OBAMA LOSING THE OLYMPICS–SO WHAT?
For six long years the left in this country rooted for America to lose the war in iraq. The more we appeared to be losing, the better their chances to win the white house. And they did…
So now… when conservatives laughed and cheered when the world rejected barack obama’s pitch for the Olympics… the pitch that boiled down to I want the Olympics in my neighborhood, and I usually get what I want… the left is having a cow.
The left said this was not a failure of president obama, but a failure of the right wing, because it wanted Obama to lose.
The real story is the right wing in this country has been waiting for the world to wake up about obama. America has, or at least the part of America that got him elected–the independent voters. They’ve now figured it out, and obama is underwater with them. But until the Olympics defeat, the left in this country was assured that in Europe obama still walked ON water.
A major Danish newspaper said the reason Chicago lost the Olympics was Obama’s arrogance.
That is the real story.
