GADZOOKS!!! THE WHITE HOUSE IS ATTACKING ME AND EVERYBODY I KNOW AT FOX!
The president has today decided to go to war at long last. Glad to see he’s got his courage up.
I support aggressive, push your weight around presidents. But the problem here is not that he’s decided to go to war, but who to go to war against.
Turns out it’s not al qaeda, or the Taliban… it’s Fox News.
That’s right. This president can do beligerant and hostile… as long as it’s against Fox and not anyone else.
He sent his new media advisor out to say that Fox is an arm of the political party and it won’t get interviews with the president the rest of the year.
Fox, of course, is the only major news outlet which questions the president. The others line up to sing his praises in … as britt hume put it… a rhapsodic chorus.
For this Fox is rewarded by a government sponsored White House website attacking Fox and the President has hired a gunslinger to take shots on television as well.
Well, good luck Mr. President. Wars are a messy business… as you will undoubtedly discover.
