GOLF AND THE PRESIDENT–IT’S TIME TO JUST SAY NO!
Nobody thinks this is a big deal. But president obama logged his twenty fourth day of golf since becoming president just this last Sunday.
It took gw bush two and a half years to hit his twenty fourth day of golf and obama’s done it in half the time.
There was outrage when president bush said he gave up golf while we were at war. It was thought to be a shallow gesture.
Obama isn’t bothering with shallow gestures. He’s just going out for golf. Some think it’s the place he goes to smoke.
Whatever. Just seems to me he could be spending some of that Sunday time thinking about the troops he’s got under fire in Afghanistan who are waiting for his decision to send reinforcements.
I don’t think it’s a shallow gesture. I’m all for giving up golf while the troops are waiting on a decision.
On Sunday afternoons the president’s big decision is driver or six iron. It should be Afghanistan… in or out?
