You weren’t even thinking about it, were you? You didn’t even remember or consider that today is Friday the 13th.

That is, until  I just put that in your head.

Zoinks. I’m sorry.

Well, not really. I mean, come on! I can understand how a day like the anniversary of 9-11-2001 come bring sorrow and depressing feelings.

But why should a Friday that happens to fall on the 13th ruin your day?

The irrational fear of this day is so pervasive that it has its own name. Those who suffer from it are known as Paraskevidekatriaphobics.

Wouldn’t SILLY be a simpler and easier to spell term?

Not to make fun, but your day was going just fine until you remembered it was Friday the 13th. Then you let the Law of Attraction work AGAINST you instead of FOR you.

That is to say, you FED the fear with related NEGATIVE THOUGHTS until they bred MORE negative thoughts. Next thing you know, you’ve walked under a dozen ladders on your way to work and seen black cats around every corner.

It’s the POWER OF SUGGESTION. Nothing more. It’s all self fulling prophecies.

The saddest part is that according to psychotherapist Dr. Donald Dossey, as many as 21 million Americans suffer from this fear.

Fight the fear. Stomp the superstitions.
